The Town of Baie Verte offers a wide variety of attractions. We offer everything from whale and iceberg watching, historical mining sites and hiking trails to snowmobiling, skiing - and so much more. Feel free to visit the town recreation department to learn more about ongoing recreational activities.

Tourism information can be found at the Baie Verte Junction (located on the Trans Canada Highway). Here you will find various brochures and interesting reading
information about our town as well as our region.

With a diverse and continuously growing tourism sector, you won't be disappointed with your visit to Baie Verte. Don't miss the Miner's Museum & Information Centre which illustrates the life of a miner - from the late 1800's to present day.

The town Of Baie Verte has close ties with the town Of Fleur De' Lys. Fleur De' Lys is the home of the Dorset Soapstone Quarry National Historic Site.
